Graham Hancock - Plant Teachers

Coast To Coast AM  George Noory with Graham Hancock
Best selling author Graham Hancock spoke about his latest book, Supernatural, which delves into the origins of humankind and the wisdom he gleaned from experiences with shamans in South America. Something altered human consciousness around 40,000 years ago, and Hancock suspects it could have been an interaction with supernatural or other-dimensional beings. The ancient depiction of such beings resembles the grey aliens of today, and he suggested they may be the same entities.

During trips to the Amazon rainforest, under the tutelage of tribal shamans, Hancock said he drank a hallucinogenic brew called Ayahuasca on 11 different occasions.

He reported being transported into a "very convincing reality" where he telepathically communicated with intelligent beings. He also experimented with the substance ibogaine, which seemingly allowed him to get into contact with the dead.

Hancock also discussed how the Nobel Prize winning scientist Francis Crick admitted to being in an altered state when he discovered the double helix form (Crick used LSD back when it was legal in the 1950's). Interestingly, Crick suggested that DNA didn't evolve on our own planet because it was too complicated to have emerged by accident. Rather, it may have arrived here via a type of panspermia, sent out by a dying high-tech civilization in the form of frozen bacteria on spaceships, Hancock recounted.

Graham Hancock - Quest for the Lost Civilization

Quest for the Lost Civilization  Documentary with Graham Hancock
This documentary is a breathtaking odyssey, stretching from the pyramids of ancient Egypt to South American ruins. From Easter Island to Angkor Wat, Graham Hancock puts forward compelling evidence to suggest that cultures we term ancient were in fact the heirs to an older lost civilization.

Graham Hancock - Consciousness & Altered States

Coast To Coast AM  George Noory with Graham Hancock
Researcher and author Graham Hancock discussed how humanity received a jump start some 40,000 years ago, when our ancestors took psychoactive plants and had contacts with non-terrestrial beings who served as teachers. Their visions and encounters were depicted on cave paintings, he said. The Amazonian hallucinogenic brew known as ayahuasca is being used today, and its active ingredient DMT, is naturally made in the human pineal gland. People who have spontaneous visions may produce higher levels of this chemical in their bodies, he noted.

In Dr. Rick Strassman's experimental studies of DMT, users reported experiences similar to alien abduction scenarios, Hancock reported. In fact, aliens, fairies, and spirit beings may all be the same thing, just construed differently based on cultural frameworks, Hancock suggested.

He argued that hallucinogens such as ayahuasca should be made legal, as they help to advance the freedom of consciousness.

Hancock touched on some of his other areas of research, detailing how a lost civilization predating the Egyptians, created the megalithic structures on the Giza Plateau. This civilization was destroyed in a global cataclysm-- something that we may face in our own time as part of a recurring cycle of destruction, he warned. The ancient Mayans created a calendar that is strikingly accurate, more so than the Gregorian one we use today, he added.

Graham Hancock - Supernatural

Coast To Coast AM  Art Bell with Graham Hancock
Art Bell welcomed author Graham Hancock who shared his thesis on how "supernatural" beings interacted with human consciousness from ancient to current times. These entities, who have been known by such names as spirits, fairies and aliens are always "interpenetrating" with our world but normal consciousness is tuned into everyday reality and is not typically aware of them, he said.

Shamans are able to access their interdimensional realms, and other pathways to the supernatuals include fasting, rhythmic dancing, and psychoactive substances such as ayuhuasca, Hancock reported. Dr. Rick Strassman conducted tests with DMT and found that his subjects were traveling to similar places in their mind.

DMT, which is naturally produced in small amounts by the pineal gland, might have been "the light that was switched on in the human brain" some 40,000 years ago, theorized Hancock.

Hancock told of drinking the ayuhuasca brew in a religious context in Brazil. It plunges you into a seemingly convincing parallel world populated with intelligent beings, who teach and transform your life, he shared. At one point he met an entity that appeared similar to a "Gray," which led him to conclude there was a connection with the alien abduction syndrome. Humanity is facing "self inflicted doom" Hancock warned, but he believes we could forestall it with a self-initiated massive change in consciousness.
